Suk Yun received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology before earning his Ph.D. in Earth Sciences and Environmental Engineering from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology.
Suk Yun's research focuses on Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), urban mining technologies for circular economies, and biomass-to-hydrogen synthesis.
